If you have the passion, skills and experience, this is an excellent opportunity to make stunning desserts with a team of fellow artists that really cares about getting the details right.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3-5 years of professional cake decorating experience<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Ability to tort, fill and ice perfectly level cakes<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Experience modeling 3D figures and objects out of fondant<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Experience making gumpaste flowers<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Impeccable piping skills<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">A positive attitude and good rapport with customers<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Bonus Points:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to create sculpted cakes<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Experience decorating custom cookies<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Basic baking skills<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Primary Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cake, cupcake and cookie decoration<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Answering questions and taking orders for desserts over the phone and in the shop<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Responding to customer email inquiries<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Conducting wedding cake tastings and consultations<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Secondary Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Helping walk-in customers<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Restocking bakery case<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Maintaining clean workspaces<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Assisting with store opening and closing as appropriate<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Pay:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full Time, with occasional overtime<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Hourly wage commensurate with experience<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"userContent\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">How to Apply:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Email us a cover letter, resume and the five best cake pictures from your portfolio.
