At the end of August, we were excited to get an inquiry from clothing and lifestyle brand Free People<\/a>. We’ve worked with them before on a number of projects, but this occasion was extra special. The team at Free People was hosting an animal rescue “cuddle lounge” at their Navy Yard headquarters. They were partnering with Providence Animal hospital, and they wanted 275 cupcakes with dog and cat faces on them to give to employees and volunteers.<\/p>\n

Cuddle Lounge? Rescuing dogs and cats? We’re in!<\/p>\n

Our decorator Taylor hand-decorated each of the 275 cupcakes<\/a>, using many colors of buttercream and a very steady hand.<\/p>\n

We also donated a super cute cat and dog custom cake<\/a>, just because!<\/p>\n

We couldn’t attend the event because we were in the middle of a super busy week at Whipped Bakeshop, but hopefully lots of wonderful cats and dogs found their forever homes.<\/p>\n
