This is a part time position. Home decorators are welcome to apply!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Requirements:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A positive self-starting attitude and sense of humor<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An abundance of joyful creativity<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At least 2 years of decorating experience (pro or ambitious home baker)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enthusiasm for sales calls and great rapport with customers<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience, and\/or willingness to learn skills such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Torting, filling and icing perfectly level cakes<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mixing beautiful colors<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Modeling 3D figures and objects out of fondant<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Making gumpaste flowers<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Piping vintage style cakes\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Decorating custom cookies<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Responsibilities:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintaining a positive and supportive kitchen environment<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Decorating cakes, cookies and cupcakes<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Taking new orders via phone, email and text<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Completing scheduled sales calls with customers<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Secondary Responsibilities:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintaining clean workspaces<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Helping with classes and workshops<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assisting with store opening closing as appropriate<\/span><\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hours:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We estimate an average of 20-30 hours per week, depending on our weekly number of orders<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shifts will likely be 4-5 days per week<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pay:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hourly wage commensurate with experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Paid time off<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How to Apply:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please email us a cover letter, resume and 5-10 cake and cookie pictures from your portfolio.
